SMM manager - who is he?


A few words specifically about the profession of SMM manager. For me, this is not quite the correct name for the activity. The abbreviation SMM stands for Social Media Marketing, and therefore is Social Media Marketing, and the specialist is called marketer.

And the manager on social networks reminds me of a girl who sits in the office and responds to a message in a group on behalf of the company. It's funny.

How is an SMM marketer different from a traffic manager?

It is also necessary to understand social networks from contact to YouTube, and the more you know about them, the better;

Why did you decide to study this specialty? Why did you go to Convert Monster and not Netology or SkillBox?


I chose these specialties because I still want to learn as much as possible and gain maximum skills in Internet marketing, but I want to focus on SMM. I compared schools and liked Envelope Monsters more, to be honest.

Why this particular one, and not, say, an SEO or a website designer?

I had learned website design, graphic design and advertising from other courses before this. The knowledge is very useful, I still use it, but this is rather a pleasant bonus in working with me - I can comprehensively prepare both the advertisement itself and the design for it - I also did website design, but only a couple of times, honestly - I didn’t like it.

About SEO, SEO can also be different - there are Website SEO, there is a SEO on social networks. I know how to SEO-optimize a YouTube video so that it gets to the top faster for certain keywords; But I don’t want to do website SEO. Not interested.
