I decided to search: I tried to search through Hamachi - I couldn’t find it, I entered it through Tunngle - I found it! For those who want to play Dead Island co-op on the pirated version, read below.

Install any version of the game that works without Steam. You can install Russian or English.
Update the game, install the fix and DLC (For the Russian version/Mirror; For the ENG version/Mirror (current as of 09/18/2011)).
Do not install a crack, otherwise the online game will not work!
Download and install Steam (download Steam).
Extract smartstim to the root folder of steam (download smartstim/Mirror).

Launch and online play:

Via Tunngle:
Launch Tunngle and go to the room where they are playing this game.

Server creation:

Play -> Multiplayer options -> Screenshot -> Create a new character or select a ready-made one. -> If you started a new game, then go through the prologue and reach the first act. In the prologue, online play is blocked. ->

Connection:

Without Tunngle:
Launch smartsteam via “SmartSteam.exe”. This file will be in the root folder of Steam.
Only after launching smartstim can you start the game. Launch the game via “deadislandgame.exe”. This file will be in the game's root folder.
Attention: You DO NOT need to add the game in SmartStim as a third-party game and then launch it through it! If you do this, the online game will not work!

Starting the game:
1. Launch and log into your account.
In the case of LAN-Fix, launch the LAN Simulator and go to any or private network.
2. Launch the game via a shortcut on the desktop or DeadIslandGame_x86_rwdi.exe in the game folder.
In the case of LAN-Fix, we launch the game through SSELauncher.exe, which is located in the game folder.

In Game:
First you need to go through the first chapter of the game, and only then create or connect to servers.

Connection:
We accept an invitation from a friend -> Let's play!

Server creation:
In the game menu, click Settings -> Network mode -> Game visibility and check that there is Internet there, if this is not the case, set it manually -> Play or continue -> Wait for the download to finish and invite friends, and wait for them to connect -> Let's play!

Notes:

To fully use Steam and access to invite friends, it is recommended to use a separate Steam account with the game activated on it, you can.

If you can’t find a friend’s server, use the Steam friend system or by going into the same room. If you can’t see it anyway, then read.

Every time your friend should write that you are playing Serious Sam HD, if this is not written, then make sure that the “read only” checkbox is checked in the properties of the steamappid.txt file, and also the number 41010 inside the file.

Russian language: it should be by default, if not, then you need to rename the DataRu.pak file to DataEn.pak and vice versa.

Saves: lie in:

C:\ProgramData\Steam\RLD!\216250 (fix from Reloaded)

Technical bugs of the game (FAQ):
1) Glitches with sound - wheezing, tearing or playing only in the side speaker - change the speaker configuration in Windows to another one, for example, “quadraphonic” or “two speakers”. It is also advised to run the game strictly “as administrator” (right-click and there will be such an option).
2) If Dead Island Riptide jerks, freezes or slows down, then you need to update the drivers for your video card (see the left column of the site for links), and also lower the graphics settings. First at a minimum, and then gradually increase and look at performance. Dead Island

In the game folder "...Dead Island Riptide\DI\Out" there is a "logs" folder, click properties and set it to "read only" with all attached files. Then immediately go to the “SECURITY” tab and click the “CHANGE” button there. Another window will open and at the bottom there will be two columns with checkmarks. Notes:

If you cannot find a friend's server, read and check the program port for openness.

Nickname changes in the 3DMGAME.ini file (UserName=Your nickname).

To play Dead Island online you only need a few additional programs: Tunngle, Steam, SmartSteam and, of course, the game itself.

Then you need to copy the files from the SmatrSteam archive to the folder with Steam installed. That's all.

Now, before launching the game, you need to turn on Steam and leave it offline.

After Steam is ready, you need to download and install Tunngle and create an account in the service. You must log in to the installed program.

There will be a search bar in the upper left part of the window. In it you need to type the name of the game and press “Enter”.

After this, a list of rooms available for connection will appear in the middle part of the window. In it you need to select one with the appropriate version of the game.

To play with a friend you just need to go into the same room.

The connection can be made private so that other players cannot connect to the game, or it can be left open, then anyone can join.

In this case, the gameplay becomes even more interesting.

Opposite the name of the room is the number of users who are currently in it.

Connecting to the room occurs by double clicking. In addition, you can save your favorite rooms as bookmarks and quickly connect to them later.

In the selected room, the right side of the window displays a list of all users who are currently in the room.

Anyone can be added as a friend, then the program will notify you about their connection.

Once connected, just minimize Tunngle and launch the game. In this case, you need to launch the game not through Steam, but through the .exe file.

The launch must be carried out with administrator rights. Next, you will need to set the network connection settings in the game itself.

To do this, you need to press “Esc” in the game. In the menu that opens, select the “Online” tab. This is where the setup will take place. In the “Game type” column, you must select “Friends - co-op mode”.

In the “game visibility” column, select “Local network”. “Public Slots” determines the number of players in a session. It is better to turn off voice chat and use Skype instead.

The remaining settings are optional; they do not affect the success of the connection.

Important! Before co-op play becomes available, you must complete the prologue and begin the first chapter. After this, in the pause menu in the game, you need to enter the “Game Lobby”. If everything is configured correctly, then, after a short search, a friend will be reflected in it, to whom you can connect using the button located at the bottom of the screen.

Possible problems and solutions

If a friend’s server is not detected, then you need to check the status of the ports and open them;
You can change your nickname in the root directory of the game. The 3DMGAME.ini file is required. It needs to be opened in notepad. The nickname will be in the “UserName=” line. The changes made must be saved.
If Russian localization does not work (which should be the default), then you need to swap the names of the files DataRu.pak and DataEn.pak.
If you experience problems with sound, you need to change the sound system settings in Windows to “quadraphonic” or “two speakers”.
If the game itself does not work correctly (slows down, freezes or glitches), then you need to update drivers video cards by downloading them from the official website. Next, you need to set the graphics settings to minimum and gradually increase them, observing the result.
If Dead Island does not start at all, then you need to update DirectX.
