How to install Play Market on Android of Chinese origin in five minutes. How to install Google services after flashing How to download play market to Huawei

Unfortunately, Google services such as Google Play Market are not popular in China. Therefore, all Chinese Huawei firmware is compiled without Google Play and it has to be installed separately. Fortunately, this problem can be solved quite easily by installing Google Apps via ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM). However, on some Huawei devices the bootloader is locked, so it is not possible to install CWM. But there is a way to install Google apps manually. To do this, you must have Super User (root) rights on your smartphone or tablet.

Instructions for installing Google Apps without CWM

  1. Download and install a file manager on your smartphone that can work with system folders. For example, Root Explorer or ES Explorer.
  2. Download Google Apps for the desired version of Android OS. GApps for Android 4.1 JB can be downloaded from this link. For other versions of Android - .
  3. Copy the archive from GApps to your smartphone and unpack it.
  4. Copy the files from the archive to the corresponding system folders on the internal memory of your smartphone (we do not touch the META-INF, optional folders and the install-optional.sh file, they are needed for the automatic installation of Google Apps via CWM). After copying each file, you must immediately change the access rights for this file so that in the future there will be no problems when working with these applications. How to do this using Root Explorer as an example: Long tap on the file->Permissions->Check all the checkboxes in the read column and the first checkbox in the write column (with the letter G). [Permissions: rw- r— r—]
  5. Reboot the smartphone.

GoogleApps installation is complete.

An important factor influencing the functionality of the Android OS and the list of capabilities that the system user receives is the presence of Google services in one or another firmware version. What to do if the familiar Google Play Market and other company applications are missing? There are quite simple ways to correct the situation, which will be discussed in the material below.

Official firmware from the manufacturer for Android devices often stops developing, that is, they are not updated after a fairly short time from the release of the device. In this case, the user is forced to resort to using modified versions of the OS from third-party developers. It is these custom firmwares that most often do not include Google services for a number of reasons, and the owner of a smartphone or tablet has to install the latter themselves.

In addition to unofficial versions of Android, the lack of necessary components from Google can be characterized by software shells from many Chinese device manufacturers. For example, Xiaomi, Meizu smartphones and devices from little-known brands purchased on Aliexpress often do not contain the necessary applications.

The solution to the problem of missing Google applications on an Android device in most cases is to install components called Gapps and offered by the OpenGapps project team.

There are two ways to get the usual services on any firmware. It is difficult to determine which solution will be more preferable; the performance of one or another method is largely determined by the specific model of the device and the version of the installed system.

Method 1: Open Gapps Manager

The simplest method of installing Google applications and services on almost any firmware is to use the Open Gapps Manager Android application.

The method only works if you have root rights on the device!

Downloading the application installer is available on the official website.

  1. We download the file with the application using the link above, and then place it in the internal memory or on the device’s memory card if the download was carried out from a PC.
  2. Let's launch opengapps-app-v***.apk, using any file manager for Android.
  3. If a request appears to prohibit the installation of packages received from unknown sources, we provide the system with the opportunity to install them by checking the corresponding item in the settings menu
  4. Follow the installer's instructions.
  5. After installation is complete, launch Open Gapps Manager.
  6. It is very convenient that immediately after launch the tool determines the type of installed processor, as well as the version of Android on which the installed firmware is based.

We do not change the parameters defined by the Open Gapps Manager setup wizard by clicking "Further" until the package selection screen appears.

  7. At this stage, the user needs to determine the list of Google applications that will be installed. There is a fairly extensive list of options here.

You can find out more about what components are included in a particular package. In most cases you can choose a package "Pico", including PlayMarket and related services, and subsequently download the missing applications from the Google application store.

  8. After defining all the parameters, click "Download" and wait for the components to load, after which the block will become available "Install package".
  9. We provide root rights to the application. To do this, open the function menu and select "Settings", then scroll down the list of options, find the item "Use administrator rights", set the switch to position "On" Next, answer positively the request to grant Superuser rights to the tool in the request window of the root rights management manager.

  11. Return to the main screen of the application, click "Install" and confirm all program requests.
  12. The installation is performed automatically, and during the installation process the device will reboot. If the operation is successful, the device will start with Google services.

Method 2: Modified recovery

The above method of obtaining Gapps on an Android device is a relatively new proposal from the OpenGapps project and does not work in all cases. The most effective way to install the components in question is to flash a specially prepared zip package through custom recovery.

Installation

To install Gapps on an Android device, you must have a modified TeamWin Recovery (TWRP) or ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) recovery environment.

You can read about installing custom recovery and working with them in the materials on our website:

As you can see, bringing Google services to Android, if they are not available after flashing the device, is not only possible, but also relatively simple. The most important thing is to use tools from reputable developers.

How to install Play Market on Android? Buyers of inexpensive Chinese tablets and smartphones on Android face this question. Manufacturers of these tablets strive to save on everything possible in order to offer the lowest possible price. As a result, there is no Play Market on their Android devices. Also, the need to install the Play Market may arise for those users who have installed non-standard firmware on their devices. Since many firmwares do not have a built-in Play Market.

In principle, an Android device can be used without the Play Market. But, in this case, the user faces two problems. Firstly, all applications and games have to be installed manually by downloading and uploading APK files to the device’s memory. And secondly, with this method of installing applications, you can forget about updates. Therefore, if you happen to have a smartphone or tablet without the Play Market in your hands, then it is better to install it once and forget about these problems. So, let's look at the process of installing Play Market on Android step by step.

Step No. 1. Enable installation of applications from unknown sources.

The first thing we need to do is enable the ability to install applications from unknown sources. To do this, open the Android device Settings and find the “Security” section there.

Open the “Security” section, find the “Unknown sources” function there and put a checkmark next to it.

Enable the Unknown sources function

That's it, after we have enabled support for unknown sources, the Android device settings can be closed.

Step No. 2. Download the installation file from the Play Market to your Android device.

Next, we need the Play Store installation file or the so-called APK file. You can download the installation file with the Play Market application from any site you trust. For example, this APK file can be downloaded.

After you have received the APK file you need, you need to copy it to the device’s memory. If you downloaded the APK file directly to your device, then you no longer need to do this.

Step No. 3. Launch the Play Market installation file and complete the installation.

After you have copied the APK file from the Play Store to the device’s memory, launch any file manager on the device. Using a file manager, open this APK file. After this, the Android operating system will prompt you to install the Play Market application.

It should be noted that in order to use the Play Market you will have to enter your Google account login and password. If you don't have a Google account yet, you can register one. This can be done directly on your Android device or computer.

Most of Huawei's new products are released in China much earlier than in other countries. And this is understandable, because the Chinese market still remains the largest sales market for Huawei. In this regard, firmware updates for various devices are released there much more often.

In addition, devices ordered via the Internet most often come with Chinese firmware, and not with European or Russian ones. Thus, the issue of installing Google Apps and Google Play on Huawei yourself is quite acute.

Fortunately, members of the MIUI community have developed a special Google Installer application that makes it as easy as possible to install any Google Apps on your smartphone. Initially, the application was intended for MIUI firmware, since the latest Google Apps updates also cut it out from there, but it works great on other Android firmwares, such as Emotion UI. Now you don’t have to install CWM or TWRP, get root rights, or struggle with manual installation of Google applications.

Installing Google Apps and Google Play without a PC:

Important note. All Google Apps are installed in the phone system language. If your default language is Russian, then they will be in Russian, if English, then in English.

Today you can buy an inexpensive Chinese smartphone for almost pennies. Naturally, they are not made by famous brands, which means their system may not have the official Google Play store pre-installed; instead, there will be Chinese software that we don’t need to deal with. But you can solve the question of how to install Google Play on Chinese Android in just a couple of minutes.

Why is there no Google Play on Chinese Android?

Of course, it is impossible to definitively answer why China does not include Google Play in its list of devices. But after reading a lot of information on different sources on the Internet, it becomes clear that this service is simply prohibited there. Nobody knows whether this is actually true, but many users of Chinese smartphones are inclined to this version.

An easy way to install Play Market on Chinese Android

  1. So, let's begin. First you need to get them, and you can’t do without them. And all because all manipulations will be carried out directly in the system directories. Therefore, click on the link, read and install, if you have questions, ask in the comments.
  2. Did you get Ruth's license? Then let's move on. First, download the archive from Google Play (the link will be below), and then unpack it. You will need to copy the opened files to " System"—a folder located on the device. But they must correspond to the location in the archive.
  3. Next, check the boxes “ owner, group and more" in the "Reading" column. In the “Record” column, check the box next to “Owner”.

To download the archive from Google Play, enter the phrase “Google Play 4PDa” in the search. After going and logging into the forum, download the appropriate version of the application.

That's all, you independently installed the Play Store application on your Chinese device. Now you can use it in the same way as on any other device with licensed firmware.

What to do if the application icon does not appear

But sometimes there is a small problem after installation. The phone or tablet simply does not see the installed application. But solving this problem is not difficult. To get started, connect your device to the Internet via Wi-Fi or mobile network.

After that, using the built-in browser (if you don’t have one, download from w3bsit3-dns.com any other), go to the Internet. In it, in the search bar we write Google Play. You can write in small letters, and together. After a list of links appears in the window, click on the very first link in the search ( play.google.com), and the device will prompt you to select an opening method, among which will be our recently installed application.

The method, of course, is not entirely convenient, but still the only one and it seems not problematic. So, any user whose installed application has not appeared in the menu will be able to use this option.
