There is a method with MozilaFirefox and changing the HTTP protocol request settings, but in practice it does not bring the necessary results. There are several ways to regain access to Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Yandex, Mail.ru and other inaccessible resources: using a VPN, Tor browser or traffic saving mode in Chrome. 1. In the taskbar, right-click on the Internet connection icon, select “Network and Sharing Center”.

4. Highlight “IP version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” in Windows 10 or “Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” in Windows 8 and below, click on “Properties”.

5. Check "Use the following DNS server addresses" and enter the Google Public DNS addresses in the "Preferred DNS server" and "Alternate DNS server" fields. Also check the box next to “Confirm settings on exit.” Click OK.

6. After that, open the Start menu and select “Command Prompt (Admin)” or “Windows PowerShell (Admin)” in the latest version of Windows 10.

7. Type the command and press Enter.

And you can change the password at any time to something more convenient for remembering in the appropriate profile settings form (Settings menu, General tab).

Advice! Linking your VKontakte page to your phone is the most reliable way of protection, since no one will be able to access it without your knowledge. Therefore, you should not leave your profile unlinked to the number.

Write down the password in a place that is difficult for others to access: in a special file not located on the system drive, in an SMS in the “Drafts” folder, on a piece of paper in your wallet (without a login - only a code that will not give anything to other people, even if it is discovered).

Yesterday I was walking along a long corridor and heard swearing in one of the offices (since this office is located not so far from my “haven” - whether you like it or not, you will be aware of some events...).

In general, the essence is approximately as follows: you had to go to VK (some urgent matter at work, probably...), but the manager was unable to do this. A sign persistently popped up on the screen asking me to double-check and re-enter the password. I had to help them by getting the password in a rather “cunning” way (but this is a topic for a separate article...) ...

In general, after tinkering with this problem, I decided to jot down my own note with the basics of working with VK (including how not to enter a password every time you log in to your page). Many people have real problems with this. (and most importantly, it is not clear to an inexperienced user why the browser constantly asks to enter it...).

In general, go to social media. The VKontakte network can be accessed from almost any device that has the Internet and a browser (or a special application). As a rule, any modern computer/phone/tablet and other devices meet these requirements.

All modern browsers are “sufficiently” smart and are able to remember all the passwords and logins that you enter on sites (and then, when you visit this site again, substitute them for you). But many do not take advantage of this opportunity...

note that when you first enter the site(in the same social network VK) - immediately after you enter your phone number and password and press "Entrance", a window will appear asking you to save a password to access the site (see an example of such a window below). When saving your password in the browser: next time you won't have to enter it manually, the browser will do it for you.

If the VK website tells you that “you can’t log in” (as in the example below), then try resetting your password (I talked about how to do this a little higher in the article).

Moreover, you can reset your password (i.e. change it to a new one) even if you do not have access to the old phone number (to which the profile was registered).

Also pay attention to your keyboard layout, the Caps Lock key (often when the password does not work due to the wrong case...).

Most likely, you just ended up on a fake site (there are quite a lot of them on the Internet now). Their main goal: either to find out your data to access the page; or withdraw a certain amount of funds from your phone.

First, pay attention to the website address: is it accurate? https://vk.com/. Second, look to see if there is a padlock next to the URL - which signals a secure connection.

In general, you can end up on a site that is not a real one due to two main reasons:

by carelessness (for example, many people type into Google a query like "VKontakte log in" and go from the search results to an unknown site...);
having caught a virus(some types of viruses can “open” to you completely different sites that you request in the browser).

What to do if social VK network is not accessible at all

By this I mean that when you go to the official website address ( https://vk.com/) nothing is loading for you at all: i.e. Even the social interface is invisible. networks. You may also see an error stating that the server was not found (or is unavailable).

This happens most often due to:

blocking a resource in your country (for example, the social network VK was blocked in Ukraine);
The PC was infected with a virus that blocks access to certain resources (including social networks and popular antivirus websites). To help: ;

the problem is on the side of the VK network itself (this happens quite rarely and I would consider this reason last).
